This presentation will include detailed information on monitoring and management of spotted wing drosophila (SWD) in organic blueberries using biological, behavioral, cultural and chemical strategies. The findings of recent research on organically approved insecticides, behavioral technologies, cultural practices including canopy and floor management, and biological control using native parasitoids will be discussed.

This presentation will discuss current plant tissue analysis guidelines for primocane and floricane-fruiting blackberries in the Southeast and results of a recent research project examining leaf nutrient difference between the two. This session discusses a grower trial with foliar fertilizers and crop protectants from Aqua-yield, Stroller, US Ag LLC, and Marrone Bio Innovation on Prime Ark 45 blackberries.
